Christ’s Church
Join us for a special 5K to support Rapha House, a missions partner of Christ’s Church! The Run 4 Rapha is an event for the whole family, featuring food, fun and chip timing for the run/walk 5K. Also, there is a 1 Mile Fun Run for kids to enjoy! Rapha House exists to love, rescue, and heal children who have been rescued from trafficking and sexual exploitation.

The 10 mile and 5K will start and run together. The 5K will finish at the 5K point of the 10 mile. This is a beautiful course through Evergreen Cemetery and along Winona Drive. The entire course will be lined with pumpkins.

Called TAILGATE, the concert adds to the growing number of sports and entertainment events surrounding the annual game.

Funds raised will support BASCA's ongoing programs, including three training and manufacturing facilities, four group homes, weekly activities, summer camp, in-home personal supports, and transportation services. Help us to promote a healthy lifestyle for our participants and get ready to hit the pavement for a little exercise with the family before heading off to tailgate for Florida-Georgia! More than 300+ people are expected to participate in this exciting community event that will wind runners through the Oakleaf Town Center. Get ready to enjoy some food, fun, and the chance to win great prizes – the goody bags more than pay for the price of registration!

Ortega United Methodist Church is hosting the 2nd Annual Ryan's Run - a 5K Run/Walk on Saturday November 15th, 2014 in memory of Ryan Perry, to benefit the church and it's children's ministries! A one-mile fun run will take place at 8am. The 5k will start at 8:30am on Iroquois Ave behind the church offices, run though the beautiful tree-lined Ortega neighborhood streets, and then finish in the church's courtyard with a post-race celebration, including food, refreshments, and games for the entire family. All proceeds from the event will directly benefit the Ryan D. Perry Foundation at OUMC, and the church's goal of growing children's ministries in the community. Join us in remembering Ryan and running for the church!
