The Sideline Safety Zone is produced by City of Jacksonville to provide an area where residents, students and visitors enjoying downtown Jacksonville before, during, and after the Florida-Georgia festivities can find assistance ranging from basic medical help, first aid, transportation, directions, telephone service, food, water, coffee and more.

The Safety Zone is a Neutral Zone, Penalty Free.

2013 Locations & Hours of Operation 

Located throughout the downtown area, the Sideline Safety Zones are the fastest way to get help during the Florida vs. Georgia weekend, before and after the big game. 

Inside The Jacksonville Landing 
Friday, Nov. 1 - 6 p.m. - 3 a.m.
Saturday, Nov. 2 - Noon - 3 a.m.

Outside The Jacksonville Landing (corner of Laura Street and Independent Drive)
Friday, Nov. 1 - 6 p.m. - 3:30 a.m.
Saturday, Nov. 2 - Noon - 3:30 a.m.

Florida-Georgia Welcome Center
(across from EverBank Field next to Metropolitan Park)
Friday, Nov. 1 - 8 a.m. - Midnight
Saturday, Nov. 2 - 7 a.m. - 10 p.m.

Bay Street and Catherine Street (Corner of the Shipyards)
Friday, Nov. 1 - 6 p.m.- 3 a.m.
Saturday, Nov. 2, 2013 Noon – 3 a.m.

Touchdown Showdown (outside EverBank Field's south end zone)
Saturday, Nov. 2 only - 10 a.m. - end of game

Adams Street Experience (outside EverBank Field's Gate 1)
Saturday, Nov. 2 only - 10 a.m. - one hour post-game 


Access to transportation, directions, first aid and medical support, water, telephone service, cell phone charges, snacks, coffee, maps and other information.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will I be arrested if I show up drunk?
The Zone is about helping people, not punishing people. Fans who request assistance at the Zone for themselves or their friends will not be subject to legal action on alcohol issues.
Who is in charge of the Zone?
The Sideline Safety Zone is produced and staffed by the City of Jacksonville.
