More Information

The Sideline Safety Zone is produced by City of Jacksonville to provide an area where residents, students and visitors enjoying downtown Jacksonville before, during, and after the Georgia-Florida festivities can find assistance ranging from basic medical help, first aid, transportion services information, directions, telephone service, food, water, coffee and more.  


The Safety Zone is a Neutral Zone, Penalty Free.

2016 Locations & Hours of Operation 

Located throughout the downtown area, the Sideline Safety Zones are the fastest way to get help during the Georgia-Florida weekend, before and after the big game. 

Inside The Jacksonville Landing
 Friday, Oct. 28 8 p.m. – 2 a.m.
 Saturday, Oct. 29 Noon – 2 a.m.

Outside The Jacksonville Landing (On Independent Dr. near Laura St.)
 Friday, Oct. 28 6 p.m. – 2:30 a.m.
 Saturday, Oct. 29 Noon – 2:30 a.m.

Georgia-Florida Welcome Center
(Lot K next to Metropolitan Park)
 Friday, Oct. 28 8 a.m. - midnight
 Saturday, Oct. 29 7 a.m. – 10 p.m.

RV City
 Friday, Oct. 28 6 p.m. – 2 a.m.
 Saturday, Oct. 29 Noon – 10 p.m.

Outside Veterans Memorial Arena
Friday, Oct. 28 5 - 11:30 p.m.
Saturday, Oct. 29 Noon - 9 p.m.

JTA Stadium Bus Loop
 Saturday, Oct. 29 Noon – 9 p.m.


Access to directions, first aid and medical support, water, telephone service, cell phone charges, snacks, coffee, maps and other information.
