Calling all men and women ages 50 and beyond! The City of Jacksonville presents The Forever Fit 50 & Beyond: Jacksonville Senior Games, an Olympic-style event series designed for seasoned athletes to participate on a competitive level and novice athletes to participate for their own enjoyment and promote healthy and active lifestyles for First Coast seniors.

The Forever Fit 50 & Beyond: Jacksonville Senior Games will be held from October 1-7, 2012. The event is sanctioned by the Florida Sports Foundation and is a qualifier for the Florida Senior Games State Championships. Being healthy and active is not only important for physical and mental well being. This is why the Forever Fit 50 & Beyond: Jacksonville Senior Games offers non-physical games and activities, as well as plenty of social events that allow our participants to renew friendships, create new ones and share experiences. In the spirit of good sportsmanship, anything is possible!

Join us for an exciting afternoon of food, entertainment, information and fun at the Forever Fit 50 & Beyond Jacksonville Senior Games Opening Ceremony. The celebration will feature a Parade of Athletes, Torch Lighting, Health and Fitness Expo and door prizes. Athletes, be sure to check that you will be attending the Opening Ceremony on your entry form. When you arrive, check in to receive your welcome bag and enjoy! Family and friends of athletes are welcome to attend. Space is limited and tickets will be reserved on a first-come, first-served basis.
