Applications are available for the 2012 Art in the Heart of Downtown art show and sale, which will feature the work of talented fine artists and master craftspeople from around the country. Mediums include: Clay, Digital, Drawing, Fiber, Glass, Jewelry, Mixed Media, Painting, Sculpture and Wood. Festival patrons can enjoy the sounds of first-rate jazz performers and browse the work of talented artists from around the nation - all in a vibrant street festival setting. Now is your time to step into the spotlight! Apply now for the 2012 Jacksonville Jazz Piano Competition. Presented by the City of Jacksonville and Keyboard Connection Pianos & Organs, the Jacksonville Jazz Piano Competition has been a tradition for more than 20 years. Five finalists, chosen by a selection committee through "blind" judging, will compete for the honor of this award, a cash prize and the chance to perform during the 2012 Jacksonville Jazz Festival.
