New Year's Eve Fireworks Spectacular 
presented by the TaxSlayer.com Gator Bowl and the City of Jacksonville
Start of the New Year on the Downtown Riverfront
Count down to 2012 with a spectacular fireworks display sponsored by Pyro Shows and Visit Jacksonville. The show will take place over the St. Johns River with a river barge located behind The Jacksonville Landing to light up the night sky and celebrate the New Year! Boat docking is permitted in the Metropolitan Park Marina but reservations are required. Space is limited. 
Boat docking along the Northbank is free.
Anchoring will be permitted on the Southbank of the river, east of the School Board Building.

The following City parking lots and garages are open at 5 p.m. on Saturday, December 31, for the Downtown Jacksonville Fireworks Celebration on New Year’s Eve.  The event parking rate is $10 per vehicle.

Street Closures

Street closures for the VyStar 5K Run will begin at approx. 10 a.m. and will last until approx. 12 p.m. (noon).
